This Chinese New Year was a good one, except for the portfolios included during the holidays....so the result was 4 days of chinese new year and other days of portfolios. Initially planned to do 5 portfolios during the holiday mana tahu only managed to do 3...sigh...but not totally finished also...double sigh…still got additional learning that needed to be solved.

During this Chinese New Year, went to grannies place in KL and Melaka and a grandaunty’s place in Cheras. Of course eat a lot of rubbish there also. Manage to eat and the triangle cookie(forgot the name already). A must during any holiday is the chocolate. Manage to eat Thorton and long-time-not-eaten Malaysian chocolate!  Certainly not forgetting is the ang pau. Never go out that much during the CNY except that went to BTS during the holidays due to stress from the portfolios and never went there before. Never went back hometown though because every relative is in KL and Melaka.

 There was only one question posed to me by my aunties and uncles… "found a boyfriend already or not?"…though instincts is telling me that the question will be repeated throughout the whole year and years to come if I do not find one. And the funniest thing is that those questions were not posed by my parents but mainly relatives and aunties with uncles of course. Then the next thing that they expect is that “Remember to bring him to visit me ah! Ah Yi (or Ah Gu or Yi Po) want to see him!”…what a great thing to greet me when I step into the house after greeting happy Chinese New Year. Very stressful…he he he…have to find one now?!…couldn’t care that much for now since still studying.

            The next common phrase was   “wah, thin already….” The next phrase was different in some people though.  They are “how come you are growing thinner but this cousin of yours is growing fatter”, “so, have you reached the target weight yet?” and “why are you growing thinner? No food is it?”…though the last question was the one that triggered me the most. The common reason that I gave was because the food in the canteen was edible but not appetizing…which was so very true. Which leads to putting a bit more weight during this holiday. So how grow fat already…have to be on the diet again! But I guess do not need to because of all the stress will cause me to reduce again….sounds like so stupid …asking and answering my own question...ha ha ha.

              Saw this niece….yeah already an aunty…feels old, I know…ask her to call me aunty also do not want…so bad…but she sounded so cute… like those high pitch but soft voice…but very adamant…guess that I was not always there to accompany her… so may be she felt like a stranger with me.. anyway, had this prayers at night at granny’s place at midnight… very ‘mar fan’ and sad because last day of holiday already! Had “lou yee sang” that night also! Had fun to lou it but eating the salmon was not so nice because the fish was not fresh!....the next sad thing was to actually be on the way back to condo already which was around 2.00 a.m.. Somehow I was very much awake and could not sleep that much either because had class at 9.00 morning...one thing that I managed to do was to have a lot of rubbish with me! That is the happy ending! Well that much to write, nothing else to say already!. So long
